Policies

INCORPORATION
  • I am fully incorporated and carry my own insurance and liability. Contracts are made between my incorporated business and your clinic.
​​FEES CANCELLATION
  • Once the contract has been signed and dates confirmed, if cancelled with less than 30 days before the first work date, 75% of the total job's fee are due.
 
PAYMENT
  • I will provide you with an invoice for hours worked. Payment is due 14 days after invoice date. If you fail to provide payment or the payment is ineffective, you will be subject to paying any and all collections costs required.
  • A late fee of $50 is assessed for every 14 days past the due date. 
 
SURGERY/ANESTHESIA
  • For our mutual benefit, I do not perform surgery or dentistry on the first booking. After we get to know each other I am happy to provide many soft-tissue and dentistry services, including high-quality high-volume spay and neuter.
  • For patients requiring immediate anesthesia (such as laceration repair), I will perform any needed surgery within my comfort zone and capability, depending on available anesthetics, monitoring, etc. If I do not feel comfortable performing the surgery, I will refer to your preferred referral practice.
  • All surgeries and dental procedures are evaluated individually based on surgical equipment and anesthetic protocols available. I can also provide surgery-only or dentistry-only shifts.
  • I do not oversee dental extractions performed by licensed or unlicensed technicians.
 
CONTINUITY OF CLINIC PROTOCOLS
  • I strive to follow your clinic’s protocols for patient care, vaccinations, etc. Please see my "Clinic Info" form for information you can share with me to make a smooth transition.
  • For medication refills, I will refill non-controlled substances based on your hospital’s policy for clients with a valid VCPR.
